BFC - 6FP 6% FLUOROPROTEIN FIREFIGHTING FOAM CONCENTRATE

(6% FP)  Technical Data Sheet

foam index page

                                                Description

FIREHOUSE Quality firefighting flouroprotein foam is 6% FP is a hydrolyzed protein based foam concentrate with additional fluorochemical surfactants. This foam concentrate makes a very fluid and stable foam which will cover a burning Class B Hydrocarbon fuel surface very rapidly. The water soluble fluorosurfactant gives the foam the ability to reject or repel Class B Hydrocarbons which decreases the amount of Class B Hydrocarbon  being absorbed into the foam during fire fighting operations.

NOTE1:  FIREHOUSE Quality firefighting flouroprotein foam is 6% FP is intended for use at a proportioning rate of 6% (6 parts FP to 94 parts water) on Class B Hydrocarbon type fuels such as gasoline, kerosene and diesel.

NOTE2:   FIREHOUSE Quality firefighting flouro protein foam is 6% FP is not intended for use on fuels which are polar solvent/water miscible, such as alcohols, ketones, and esters.
